Find out how to transfer online credit back to your primary university!
Whether you failed a course, had to withdraw, or want to make your schedule more flexible, you can take an online course with Athabasca University (AU).
Accredited and reputable
AU courses are transferable to most degree-granting institutions. Last year, over 25,000 students stayed on pace in their program by taking a course with AU.
Flexible and anywhere
AU undergraduate courses are online and on-demand. You are not required to be online at a specific time. So you can opt out of that 8 a.m. class next semester and make a schedule that works for you!
Monthly start dates
AU undergraduate courses start on the first day of each month. This offers you the flexibility to start courses on your own schedule and when you are ready.
Follow the steps below to explore course options that you can transfer back to your program:
- Find a course at AU similar to your program requirements.
- Contact the Registrar at your home institution and obtain a Letter of Permission (most institutions require this)
- Apply and get started in your course! Register by the 10th to start on the 1st.
